Numan is a leading digital provider of men’s health. We are on a mission to improve men’s health and wellbeing. We offer treatment for a range of conditions mainly focussed on men, but rapidly expanding. We are in search of an enthusiastic, motivated prescriber, with a passion for digital health to join our growing team. The successful candidate must be qualified to practice in the UK to help us provide high-quality remote consultation services.

This role may suit a clinician who is looking to add to their portfolio and gain more experience in digital health. We would encourage applicants who want the flexibility of working from home or our new London based office, and are able to commit to at least 10 hours per week. We can offer full-time and part-time opportunities.
About the roleThe prescriber will conduct remote consultations with patients through our online consultation platform, communicating via asynchronous messaging.
The role involves undertaking consultations and prescribing for patients presenting with hair loss, erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. You would be expected to prescribe within your clinical competence for all existing and new conditions/treatments and in accordance with our standard operating procedures. You will use our online consultation platform to make remote prescribing decisions and to review blood test results.
We are always looking to improve our treatment offering, so you will be expected to prescribe for any new conditions that we launch. Appropriate training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:The Numan Prescriber will:
Assess and manage patients remotely, this includes prescribing medication from our defined formulary
Deal with medical queries and problem-solve for our customers across our customer service channels
Use live chat to communicate/engage/motivate patients on certain treatment plans
Review and report on diagnostics such as blood tests results
Maintain patient records with detail, accuracy and efficiency
Have a flexible approach and be able to prioritise work tasks effectively
Implement learning from any incidents and complaints
Take part in ongoing clinical quality improvement
Provide high-quality clinical care aligned with national guidelines
Proactively identify and voice concerns about clinical risks
Engage with any new conditions or treatments that Numan offers
Willing to learn and upskill to provide a wider range of services
Ability to make clinical decisions
Clinical practice in a remote or digital health environment desirable
A passion for digital health, telehealth and telemedicine.
Effective communication skills with patients and colleagues, medicines information skills are desirable
Contribute to professional development and experiential learning
Registered with professional body in the UK (e.g. GPhC or NMC)
Non-medical prescribing status essential
Have a background in general practice, primary care, secondary care or online health
Excellent command of spoken and written English and excellent IT skills
Interest or experience in weight management/ obesity treatment or coaching is highly desirable.
Education Training and Development
Engage in appropriate professional development activities in order to maintain clinical competence and performance
Mandatory training including Safeguarding Adults L3, GDPR, information governance.
